  1. Quick notes on NA v4.11

  3. * ARRL 10m contest is supported.  Everything should work (it was tested for
  4.   100 QSOs in ARRL 160), so please report any bugs to K8CC.
  5.  
  6. * You will need a copy of ARRL.CTY from a K1EA disk to use as the country
  7.   table for the 10m contest.  This was done so that people would not have to
  8.   update yet another country table.  NA omits W, VE, KH6 and KL7, so ARRL.CTY
  9.   does not need to be modified in any way. ARRL10.MLT is needed for the W/VE
  10.   mults, and is included here.

  12. * When operating ARRL 10m, you can switch modes using the bandswitch keys.
  13.   You can have a Voicekeyer on LPT1, and a CW interface on COM1/2 and the
  14.   program will fire off the correct messages.  Multipliers and dupes are
  15.   counted separately per mode.

  17. * New features:
  18.  
  19.       - Ctrl-G (Goto) works just like CT...useful for editing
  20.       - Cursor returns to spot in field after move
  21.       - Use the # operator to send the serial number within CW memory #2
  22.         What this means is that a "#" symbol in CW memory #2 will cause
  23.         the QSO nr to be inserted.  For example, in SS:

  25.         Memory #2 = "NR # B K8CC 69 MICH"
  26.  
  27.         will cause the following to be sent for QSO nr 123:

  29.     NR 123 B K8CC 69 MICH
  30.  
  31.         It also works when the INS key is used to send the CALL and
  32.         exchange.

  34. * COMMENTS PLEASE!

  36.   I thought it might be good to build the HELP SCREEN directly into the
  37.   program, rather than as a separate file.  The advantage of the separate
  38.   file is that you can customize it as you want.  The advantages of building
  39.   it in is that I can make sure the HELP SCREEN matches the version of the
  40.   program, and there is one less file to mess with.  Does anybody like or use
  41.   this feature?

  43.   Along those same lines, the .MLT files for NAS, NAQP & SS are pretty
  44.   common, so perhaps they should be built in too.  In particular, SS uses the
  45.   standard abbreviations from the official ARRL summary sheet.  The .CTY table
  46.   for ARRL 10m definitely needs to be customizable, for the same reasons as CT.
